Did you notice that there seems to be a proliferation of such educated barbarians?
People who seem to be quite highly educated but semm totally unaware of acceptable social etiquette and acceptable behaviour in public places. Letting their children run about like monsters, making noise in public libraries, sitting on the priority seats and refusing to give up for the elderly, cutting queues, behaviour like arrogant bastards in retail shops and food outlets, etc.

Children just aren't brought up right anymore these days... all that matters is the cert with straight As printed on it. In these people's view, good manners and etiquette are of no practical value as they cannot fill the tummy.

One way, their children will get into an entanglement where their barbaric behaviour may cost them their lives.
Then they may reconsider whether there is any practical value.

Sadly, in the quest for nurturing talents, the big MACHINE has neglected that having high IQ doesn't cut much at all.

A good mix of EQ is also required.

plenty of them. Sorry to say that some FTs are also very educated and the kids are also running wild in the libraries, treating the place like a playground :(.
