U.S. military: soldier dies in vehicle accident in Iraq
BAGHDAD (AP) — The U.S. military says an American soldier died when a vehicle rolled over southeast of Baghdad.
A statement says the rollover occurred about 9:30 a.m. Saturday and the soldier died of wounds more than three hours later.
It says the incident is under investigation.
The death raises to at least 4,174 members of the U.S. military who have died in the Iraq war since it began in March 2003. That's according to an Associated Press count.
