Drivers horn non-stop while queuing for petrol promotion

It's a a good offer for drivers, but a bad experience for residents. STOMPer Shelley who lives nearby a Shell petrol station in Tampines experienced first hand the horning of impatient drivers queuing up for the petrol promotion.

Says this STOMPer:

"Another gimmick by Shell Petrol again.

"$1 per litre of petrol from 10am to 6pm on a Saturday, a weekend.

"Staying just right beside Shell Station in Tampines Ave 2/St 12, residents have to endure the cars horning away non stop.

"Vehicles queueing for the petrol discount, occupied the left most lane of the main road causing other vehicles difficulty to turn in and out of Tampines Street 12.

"There are even vehicles stopping in the middle lane trying to squeeze through to the left lane.

"Bus drivers got to drive on the right lane.

"This has not only created nuisance to the residents and vehicles driving by, it has created tonnes of noise pollution for the residents!"
