Dovechem Holdings founder Ng Joo Soon has been taken off Interpol's Red Notice Wanted List after a Jakarta police probe on forgery allegations was dropped.
Mr Ng, 74, said on Wednesday he is seeking to trace who was behind the allegations so that he could consider seeking legal redress.
A Red Notice is put up by a country's enforcement agency when it wants Interpol's network of 188 member countries to trace the suspect, with a view to his arrest and extradition.
This notice means those manning entry and exit points in member countries will be on extra alert for the wanted man.
