A chain collision involving an electric scooter rider and three cars took place at a traffic junction in front of Yishun MRT station.

It is unclear when the incident happened.

In a video on Beh Chia Lor - Singapore Road's Facebook page, a person on an electric scooter is seen riding across the traffic junction when the traffic light was still red.

(Story continues after post)

The rider had barely reached the middle of the road when she caused a car to brake abruptly, followed by two other cars, who collided with one another.

The fourth car managed to stop in time to prevent colliding with the car in front.

The rider is also seen hastily getting off her electric scooter to get out of the way of traffic.

Several netizens spoke up for the car drivers and chastised the rider for the dangerous act.
