IswaranabehCCB case is so staged and ended amicably, and now they deemed fit to hammer Pitam deep deep to make PAPPPY feels like the entire saga was dealt with impartially - with clear intent to disquality Pitam from standing in the next GE. Talk about hypocrisy.

Nehru was the leader of India’s movement to gain independence from the British and in his speech on Tuesday, Lee praised him and India’s other founding fathers for their “high ideals and noble values”.
The leaders who fought for and won independence are often exceptional individuals of great courage, immense culture, and outstanding ability,” said Lee, who was speaking as part of a debate over a lying scandal relating to the opposition Workers’ Party.
Lee, describing how healthy democracies could “go downhill”, referenced media reports that said 43 per cent of MPs in the current parliament had criminal charges against them, adding that he was aware of talk that these charges were politically motivated. Indeed, the charges are a source of great chagrin for many Indians who believe the political system has become criminalised.
His remarks were widely reported and debated in India, especially on Twitter. All media outlets carried stories on the MEA’s reaction, displaying them prominently on their websites. However, there was little discussion of why Lee’s remarks were especially galling.

The one who offered bribe vs the one who received bribe, which one more serious ? The last time @sbfuncle asked, and the answer obviously is the one who received bribe.
For prosecution to have any real chance of success, the one who offered bribe must be prepared to be a prosecution witness, and when he does, he will not be prosecuted. He becomes 污点证人. Remember they did not charge Cecilia in NBG's case. She was a prosecution witness.
When prosecution decided that they would proceed with Iswaran first, what was the status of OBS ? Waiting to be charged or prosecution witness ? If waiting to be charged, why didn't prosecution proceed with OBS first ? If OBS tio convicted, then that conviction can be used against Iswaran.
If I admit I bribed you or the Court judged that I bribed you, how are you going to defend yourself ?
So it looks like prosecution purposely put the cart before the horse.
