Poor men, in spite of their frailing body, they still soldier on. One reminds me of Deng Xiaoping the elderly stateman of China, the other reminds me of a fictitious character - Don Quixote.
Both men have my greatest respect. Don Quixote - the retired gentleman wore an old armour suit, thought that he was a knight and fought against windwills that he imagined were dragons and giants. He imagined saving the lives of ordinary peasants. He stayed in ordinary inns which he thought were castles - to dream the impossible dream! In the end he was brought down to earth!
And who is Sancho Panza his constant companion, who took over his place ? Your guess is as good as mine!
To dream the impossible dream,
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go ...
