This family did not clear up their mess, but left it to the cleaners, says STOMPer stubby_99. The STOMPer wonders what will happen if there are no foreign cleaners.
In the STOMPer's email dated Aug 22:
"Look at what this family had done after burning incense papers in the night at 11:15pm at along Sengkang East Road.
"Even if they were burning incense paper in the Metal bin but they messed up the whole pavement with incense papers.
"They did not clear up their own mess but leave the awful mess to the cleaners.
"Do the cleaners deserve to clear the mess created by this family?
"Will the Town Council do anything to restrain people from littering the area with incense paper?
"Just imagine if there are no foreign cleaners in Singapore, will local Singaporean citizen willing to do this low-pay job to clean the mess?
"My guess is definitely No!"
