The odds of heart failure increases across the board for anyone exposed to any form respiratory infections, eg. cold, influenza, covid, chest infections, etc. The odds are even higher for seniors. You can walk into any local hospitals, and find people admitted to hospitals for heart issues when they are down with influenza.

Secondly, in the history of medicine, odds of heart failures "long after" recovery, because of respiratory infections should not be higher. If it is proven to be related to covid "long after" recovery, that means the treatment for COVID did harm to heart or it is a side effect of COVID vaccine taken by many people,
