The government is so rich they can afford to lose billions and they should help those in need instead of gambling our money away!
They have been using fears to frighten the citizens by asking questions like...what if our reserve is insufficient in times of crisis.The problem is they never tell you how much reserve is enough. They keep taxing and squeezing the people with tricks like...COE, ERP,GST,CPF...etc
There are quiite a few private hospitals offering free medical services to the poor and why our government cannot?
The question they asked would be....What if all the people including the richs abuse and rush for the free service?
Do you see any abuse or rush for the free service currently provided by those private hospital?
Donating money to institution will lead to abuse as had been proven again and again.
To fully subsidise a private hospital will bankkrupt Singapore they said...is that so? How come they lost more than 50 billions and we are still rich enough to pay the ministers millions?
Haven't we donated enough to the government?
