unfortunately a sitting President is immune to prosecution, but in 10 days, Jan 20th that immunity ends. One reason he was fundraising was to build a war chest to defend himself from many lawsuits, charges coming. I do think there is a high chance he will be arrested or he might "give himself up" then post bail and fight in court for years.

If I were Trump, I would strike a deal with Pence now and on the 19th resign and get Pence to pardon him...this Pardon would definitely hold up in any federal court...
He's not, and he has checked into a Reddit thread where he said he is ok, had an MRI done nothing broken, soft tissue injuries and bruising likely but OMG what a video really makes you feel sorry for the poor chap, just doing his job
But the evidence from the legal experts, at least what from I am reading on George Conway's twitter feed is that he cannot. Its never been done, he may well try, but the framers put certain language in the constitution that explains that the action can only be given from one party to another, not to self. What's interesting here is that in times past SCOTUS has deferred to original meaning in these matters and since Trump placed several ORIGINALISTS in said court they will in all likelihood rule according to what the framers had in mind. It would be extremely ironic if SCOTUS did that, and would be a fitting end to the sorry tale of Donald J Trump
