Idea 1: "I Do, I Do" and "That One Not Enough" remake into "I do that one not enough" [About a 50 year old midlife crisis man wanting to fuck more than just his wife]

Idea 2: 跑吧,孩子 remake into "Run, Children, Run" a drama cum moral tale about a 50 yo quasi-peadophile priest accused of molesting barely 16s.

Idea 3: "One More Chance" and "The Best Bet" remake into "One more chance: the best bet" about a woman in her late forties deciding whether to stick with her philandering husband or dump him.

12 storeys by Eric Khoo.

But Jack Neo played a role in the film - as a buck toothed loser who married a gold-digger china bride played by QuanYiFeng.

But it was in this acting role that gave Jack Neo his 'Eureka!' moment. Apparently, he observed & absorbed much on the movie set & watching how Eric worked. The whole experience was catalystic to his rebirth as Director Neo.

He started experimenting filming using videocam, won an award for short film, sell some short comedy on DVD while riding on his fame & visibility on every Monday's Comedy Night.

Then 1998 Money No Enough ( he not director, but actor, storyman etc) - the rest is history.

When Eric was planning to make 12 Storeys, the Jackass was a desperate nobody who was consigned to weekly variety shows where he had to cross dress to make a living.

He went around begging for a break, any break - cos he wanted to get involved with the film industry. He was lucky Eric gave him a chance.

But with this recent turn of events, he should just get out of the industry. CCB laughing his way to the bank for churning out 10 years of rubbish!

Agree. then, Moses Lim's crossover to Ch 5 & higher visibility was hitting him hard.

He had his proverbial 7 good years of good harvest, now his 7 barren years coming ?

Depends on what lessons he has learned & how he plan his revival.
