The divorcé had grand plans for a dirty weekend in China. But things went awry for Mr Lee, a Singaporean in his 40s, when the blue "Viagra" pill his friend gave him didn't work.

Mr Lee later found out that he had erectile dysfunction. But Mr Lee can count himself lucky as the pill he took was fake. He could have died.

After a global blitz earlier this week on the online sales of illegal health products, the Health Sciences Authority said it was investigating 10 people for selling unregistered and counterfeit items like weight loss products and pregnancy test strips.

The top four drugs seized were lifestyle drugs, which include sexual enhancement drugs and slimming pills.
