This confirms my belief: PAP will do ANYTHING to get elected. Where is the honor? If he indeed did slam LKY, he probably won a few hundred votes from the voters who were skeptical about PAP, but at the same time he might have lost some votes from those who respected LKY.

All kinds of tactics - from poll cards not received, to despatching party propaganda during cooling day, to contradictory gestures within party, to smearing, to fake promises, to crying in the rain, to public apology... everything that you can think of + things that you never could have imagined - the did all these. They did everything possible to win your votes EXCEPT GENUINELY PROVIDING PUBLIC SERVICE TO YOU AND ADDRESSING ALL THE WRONGS THEY HAVE COMMITTED !!!

Hopefully on Sunday morning Georgie turn on his PC to log into his Foreign Ministry server to see the incoming congratulatory notes for his masters. This time got message 'user unknown'. Tried again and the computer says 'number of tries exceeded'. To quote Prof Higgins "Poor Georgie boy! How simply frightful! How humiliating! How delightful!"
