What? Stay in Lotus Desaru? Thought at least stay in the Westin there..

Lotus Desaru is one of the worst beach resorts I've ever stayed in. Other than the compound being big with multiple pools, playground and sports facilities, the rooms are run down and service staff inadequately trained.

The room I stayed in had a faulty air-con, filthy bath tub and barely functioning TV. Housekeeping was shoddy and the swimming pool's water was slightly muddy with traces of sand probably due to cutting corners in maintenance.
