Deferring HSR: Penang Cow failed big time

Singapore’s Transport Minister Khaw Boon Wan failed to receive his US$125 million penalty or convince Malaysia in proceeding ahead with the High Speed Rail (HSR) construction yesterday (Sep 5). The decision to proceed will be deferred until May 2020, which happens to be the General Election year for Singapore.

Najib gave the farm away to Sinkapore for personal gains. Mahathir is taking it back. HSR will not be built; there is no gain for Mudland to extend HSR to sinkapore. It will stop in JB and if sinkapore wants it, it will have to pay big time.

Sure or not? I see Mudlanders have a higher quality of life than sinkees. They can holiday in the country ...don't need to fly here or there or drive long distance to see see.
If don't like hectic life, can move to small town or island to live a leisure life? Sinkees go where? Ponggol?

This is definitely the thing that nobody in south east asia can beat. The further away from singapore, the higher the transportation cost.
