I remembered seeing a talk show in HK early this year when a group of fengshui masters from HK visited Genting with camera crews and 'exposed' the 'dirty and spooky' tricks to ensure gamblers lose money when they gamble there.

The talk focused on certain rooms in the casino hotel and entrances where they hid dead bodies to sway the gamblers.

Anyone know if it's still on youtube? Got the link to this talkshow (in cantonese) please post link here. Many thanks!

What I have heard is that there are empty coffins buried under the entrances and exits to deny good luck to gamblers and ward off bad luck from the casinos.

i saw part of the HK program but not all. The gist is that there are bodies of dead people beneath the beds in certain rooms. the HK fengshui masters knew precisely which room and they even drew maps and had camera crews. very informative.

Just want to view it in full cos Singapore's CASINO will sure also have the same "black magic".

I've heard from friends saying that, during their stay at a hotel or apartment in Genting Highlands, they came across this mysterious lift that was accessible to a secret floor and rooms! OK, the story goes like this ->

One night after supper, they're going to head back to their room and, while waiting for the elevator, they lost their patience coz it took so long for the lift to come down. As a result, they took a staff elevator. The staff elevator is usually locked to prevent the public from using it but not that night! http://www.sgclub.com/images/smilies/largesmiles/qmarkhuh.gif

As they stepped into the elevator, they saw an unusual floor number button and, out of curiosity, they pressed that strange button and it brought them to a dark and secret floor. Once the lift door opened on that floor, what they saw totally scared the **** outta them! There was a door right in front ... totally chained up and filled with amulets or "fu" and there're even lit red candles beside the door. Without hesitation, they quickly closed the elevator door and they're gone with the wind faster than the Flash but, before doing so, one of my friends even stuck his head out of the elevator and took a peek at both sides of the corridor and it's apparent that this floor was unoccupied and deserted. http://www.sgclub.com/images/smilies/what2.png

Last time when I heard this story from my friend, I was utterly uninterested in that I was a non-believer but, as time passed, I seemed to have developed an interest and passion for this kind of thing probably due to the boring city life and work pressure and the lack of sense of adventure. Well, guess it's kinda late when I tried to inquire from my friend to get more info about the secret floor but he couldn't recall which building and what floor number. According to him, it could be the Ria Apartment. http://www.sgclub.com/images/smilies/largesmiles/ghost_002.gif

Has anyone encountered or heard of this so-called secret floor and room? If yes, please tell me which building this floor locates in and which and where the elevator is for gaining access to this secret floor. Need details! http://www.sgclub.com/images/smilies/drool5.png

Help me please. Thanks.

ha ha ha ha ha...

Why am I not surprised there are hidden Satan worshippers in such places?

HIAZ! Still no one has the link to the HK program?:(

This is more of a horror story that’s circulate some 10 years ago about one of Genting Highland’s hotel. I’m not too sure which Genting Highland hotel is it as there wasn’t really one particular hotel mentioned in the many version of stories I’ve been told but some swear by its authencity. Afterall, this is one of the most told Malaysia Urban Legend I’ve heard for many times
It started out as a group of high school friends decided to make Genting Highland as one of their holidays destination. Genting Highland’s hotel, was afterall one of the most affordable-ly priced hotel with its location easily accessed (buses and cable car is one of the most widely used mode of transportation for students that do not own a car)
To make the holidays affordable for everyone, this group of high school friends decided to cram into a single bedroom which has 2 single beds. There were about 5-6 people sharing the room and with the cost of a RM300 or less a night, it was a reasonable price. Happily, the 5 friends joked and hanged out at the room. When noon came, they even visited the indoor and outdoor theme parks and had a great time enjoying themselves. As night approached, they were really tired and decided to call the day off.
Discussing how 5 people could sleep comfortably in 2 single beds, they decided to pull off both the mattresses so 2 single beds could turn to 4 instead (the remaining person would have to bunk in with another friend). As 2 of the friends pulled the upper mattress, they were shocked to find a dead body of a woman beneath the mattress. Horrified, they called the security and hotel management to explain the situation.

The story goes that because the management did not want negative press and rumours spreading around the hotel, they payed each of the friends a considerable amount of money as fees to “console” their un-happy visit. The condition was also not to publish their experience to any newspaper agencies or re-tell their experiences to other friends and relatives (apparently if this is true, someone must have talked or this story would not end up in this blog!)
Now, some told me that after this incident, Genting Highland has an unspoken rule that one MUST NOT pull the upper mattress.

Damn we should all stay away from that place for the good of all Singaporeans .

If you believe that ailens are walking in your midst ( not the FT's), then you can belive this story. First thing, the corpse would have rotted & smell, unless the whole group, don't bathe for a week; they smell like corpse too.

Second, to keep the corpse for sometime, they must use embalming fluid etc.., and that gives off smell...

...

After the revelation by the HK show, Gentings agreed to remove the bodies. A total of 32 bodies were removed and cremated at Bt Bohdoh Cemetary , 7km uphill. 22 days of chantings and prayers were carried out to appease the dead. They aslo revealed that the bodies were originally purchased from relatives, many fo whom were farmers from the foothills.

No need my friend. Just erect a forceful, watchful and powerful smiling statue of what you people worship as the "God of No Mercy" in front of each of the casinos and the integrated resorts would endure in the ages to come with support from local and foreign sheep.

Always believe spirits and even the minions of the devil fear him true.

You are asking a bunch of sinkie losers here to help you for free? Good luck with that. i think you dun have much experience with sinkies.

How about paying them $100 for some help. I am sure you will get it within the next second.

These are all rubbish. Don't be gullible. Gaming is a big industry and they their use simple maths to sophistcated algorithmns to set the odds and therefore hedge the bets. Eventually the house wins. They hold poker games for promotional purposes but the rest favours the house and the Govt which takes more than a fair whack via gaming taxes.

Some of these myths are perpuated by losers who give cock and bull stories to their spouses and families to explain why they lost their pants.
