Raju is Managing Director and Head of Consumer Banking Group. Before this, he was the Head of South and South East Asia, Global Transaction Services and Technology & Operations. Raju is a member of the Management Committee for DBS.

Raju joined DBS as Managing Director & Chief Administration Officer in the Treasury & Markets Business in September 1999 from Citibank and became the Head of Processing and Servicing in September 2000. In 2003, Raju moved to become the Managing Director & Head South and Southeast Asia. In 2004, Raju took on the additional role as Head of Global Transaction Services. He then added the role of Head of Technology and Operations in 2006.

The writing had been on the wall for a long time, with regards to the US Banking sector.

Same as with Baring Brothers?, nobody knew?...same with the CLOB market demise, nobody knew?

Those who watches the markets closely will already know what is happening. It is those who have information at hand, & way ahead, can run off quickly, when there is a fall; even making losses, they can still hide & lick their wounds. But those, who are just buying instruments they do not know or ask about the complexity; are the victims.

Nobody knew?....thiught that CLOB would open up people eyes..but sadly it didn't!:(
