Happy now?
What happens to the money - which pocket?
To be used as operating expenses for the unit? For charity?
They should educate the public.

Taken into ledger as "operational losses" which will eventually affect the P&L and another reason to increase hospital charges.

What a token and lenient punishment! Small change to these cash-rich government bodies!

Well very soon you will hear things like
"We need to update our ……. prices to reflect the latest costs of …....."
"Rising costs of resources and the use of more complex development approaches have exerted upward pressure on the costs of producing and delivering...…..,"
" why …….is an existential issue for Singapore, and why this price increase is unavoidable."
" That is why the cost of ...…... has gone up, and tariffs must rise."

But they seems to forget about accountability and productivity to reduce cost as a KPI for their million dollar salaries.
Ask any of these million dollar ministers to run their own private company in the private sector without any public funding. subsidy or manpower , then we can talk.
