A monk[ or a beings] moral cum spiritual status is not measured by his worldly status , publicity or popular favourism....a little known begger in the street could have a spiritual achievement and karmic excellence that dwarf Dalai Lama..who is just a Tibetan monk..all the rest about him is the hyped up popularity and publicity flamed up by those westerners who have ulterior political motives to destroy,,split-up demean the easterners....

Greed, corruption and harm to others all have their karmic retribution the moments the acts were commited..like two sides of a same coin..
