<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"-->THE chairmen of industrial landlord JTC Corp and the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) have both been re-appointed to their positions.
Mr Cedric Foo, the group deputy president of Neptune Orient Lines, will continue as JTC Corp chairman while Mr Simon Israel, executive director of Temasek Holdings, will stay on as STB chairman.
The announcement was made by the Ministry of Trade and Industry on Monday. These and other appointments would be effective from Thursday.
A new member has been appointed to the JTC board: Mrs Ong Choon Fah, executive director of real estate giant DTZ Debenham Tie Leung.
Two other JTC board members have been re-appointed: Dr Ernest Kan Yaw Kiong, partner of audit firm Deloitte and Touche and Lt-General Desmond Kuek Bak Chye, chief of defence force of the Ministry of Defence.
At the STB board, two new members have been appointed: Ms Aw Kah Beng, STB's chief executive (designate) and Mr Mike Barclay, chief executive of Sentosa Development Corp.
Mr Steven Lim Kok Hoong, chartered accountant and non-executive chairman and member of audit committee of Parkway Trust Management, would be re-appointed as an STB board member.
