Credit card stolen in break-in: 2 boys charged

TWO 14-year-old boys were charged in the Juvenile Court on Thursday with housebreaking and cheating.
One of them is said to have broken into a flat at Jurong West Central at about 4.30am on Tuesday, when he stole a wallet belonging to a Ms Zou Jin.
One of the items stolen was Ms Zou's Bank of China credit card.
The juvenile's friend is accused of conspiracy to cheat at Maxi-Cash Jewellery in Boon Lay Way, when the boy who stole the wallet allegedly presented the card to pay for two necklaces worth $1,537 the same day.
Both were remanded at the Singapore Boys' Home for further investigation.
They will be back in court on July 28.
