CPIB refuses to comment about corruption in school entry.

Many people use MOE Lobang if possible. Mostly civil. Servant colleagues. Hence reason why it's turned into elite only school as those with no Lobang kicked out.
This is low ses issue.

1. Many retired sportsmen are coaches of secondary schools and JCs.
2. Rich parents sent their kids to private sport schools run by these people for a few years or just months in Primary School
3. Many of these kids don't play the games well and can't win anything in national competitions. The fees are very high, what's the catch?
The coaches do not select the DSA students but many can recommend school teachers to recruit these rich kids as ideal, perfect "sparing/training opponents" for the best sports students in the CCA. It is a lame reason and some coaches threatened not to coach the school if the teachers don't heed their advice.
This is why parents protest that in top schools accepts many weak sports students through DSA program. AGO just need to review the acceptance of these students who hardly won anything respectable in their primary school but these are rich kids, so nobody will touch them.
Flagged sports include fencing, water polo, bowling, racket games and team sports.

If rich kids are weaker players and Sports-CCA hours and training are long, wouldn't these rich parents worry that their children's studies will be affected?

The owner was Heng Cher Siang, the founding principal of Anderson Secondary School from 1965 to 1973. Heng passed away recently at the age of 96, and her estate has put the property up for sale. A property title search shows that the freehold plot was approved for purchase on June 1, 1956. Her nephew, Robin Heng, the appointed administrator of the estate, says his aunt purchased the land in the 1950s.
Seventy years ago, Heng’s aunt paid “less than $11,000” for the property.

I rather accept student with Grade A from lousy school than having student scoring Grade D in popular school. The latter are mostly pampered prince at home and when thrown into army, will end up as PAPER GENERAL spending time eating mango and not every street smart the like of "Mr Cotton from Sheep" or those who can't managed MRT and complain about the culture there.
Corruption of all types n means are everywhere in sg, the obvious ones are taking legally approved salaries n many directorships beyond a human being to be accessed as qualified,those that belive sg clean,just look at the 3bil dollar case involving ah tiongs with different citizenship,lol
