The ongoing spate between YPAP and 3in1kopitiam forum took a turn for the worse when a forumer from the latter, ginterpretsgh aka Alex Tan lodged an official complaint against YPAP members Sear Hock Rong and Fong Yoong Keong to the relevant authorities.
Alex had been engaged in a war of words with YPAP members on its Facebook before he was banned ostensibly on the grounds of gindulging in vulgarities and name-callingh.
The news even made the headlines when the Straits Times published an article on one YPAP member Sear Hock Rong taunting Alex about his previous detention in National Service for ggeneral disobedienceh.
Mr Searfs callous behavior brought widespread condemnation from netizens and thatfs when his business dealings with Eunos grassroots organizations were exposed.
Both Mr Sear and his business partner Mr Fong are YPAP members and grassroots leaders in Eunos. They set up a a company to provide geducation servicesh on 15 July 2009 according to ACRA.
Within half a year, it managed to secure 24 clients, nearly a third of which are grassroots organizations based in Eunos. Netizens have been questioning Mr Sear and Mr Fong if there are any conflicts of interest in their business and grassroots work.
Last week, the Temasek Review posed 10 questions to Mr Sear based on the Peoplefs Associationfs operating guidelines for acquisition of services from exxternal vendors.
Mr Sear posted a comment on our site saying that he does not feel he needs to gexplain anything to anybodyh and challenged those who gquestion his integrityh to lodge a report against him to the relevant authorities which was gamely taken up by Alex.
In his email addressed to the Peoplefs Association, Prime Minister Office, Attorney-General Chambers, CPIB, Mr Zainal Abidin, the advisor for Eunos grassroots organizations as well as all 90 MPs and NMPs, Alex claimed that he is writing it gas a concerned Singaporean tax-payer to enquire on a recent case of grassroot leaders who profited from a list of clients they have relations with.h
Alex listed the positions held by Mr Sear and Mr Fong in Eunos grassroots organizations as well as their companiesf clients and questioned if there is are any conflict of interests:
gI would like to ask if there is any conflict of interests between the 2 Eunos grassroot leaders and the Eunos RCs they are serving in? especially so for Mr Fong, Assistant Secretary of Eunos Zone e3ΠRC, whose business profited from Eunos Zone 3 RC?h
He urged the authorities to gclarify and dispel any notion of doubt on this Eunos grassroot matters.h and stressed that he gwill pursue this matter on the behalf of all Singaporeans until a satisfactory reply is accepted by Singaporeans.h
It remains to be seen whether anybody will give an official reply to Alex and the online community.

"Grassroots leader Loh Meng Hai supposed to go to CPIB for questioning on the day he hanged himself"...Both of them should follow the lead of Loh Meng Hai to hang themselves. They degrace their family and most importantly they dishonoured their political master PAP. PAP is so good as to trust them with the CCC and other grassroot org and yet they abuse their trust bestowed on them by PAP.

Hang now...don't waste CPIB and tax payers' money on the investigation.
