据中国央视报道，中国国家卫健委医政医管局监察专员焦雅辉昨天在央视节目中接受采访时说，“两山”医院确实是此次抗击疫情的标志性医院，现在火神山还有40多名患者，雷神山还有15名左右患者。
焦雅辉表示，当天晚上经过与湖北省市卫健委和几家医院的相关人员研究，要在4月15日之前清空这两家医院的病人，转到同济、协和、人民和中南这四家医院。“两山”医院也要关闭，消杀后备用。但两家医院不会马上拆除，会保留一段时间。
今年1月24日，为集中收治日益增多的冠病患者，武汉开始建造火神山医院。数千名建筑工人日夜赶工，仅用十天时间在武汉郊区搭建了一座临时医院。随后又增减了另外一所专门收治冠病患者的雷神山医院。
