Cops seek duo over gang rape case
SHAH ALAM: Police have asked for the public’s help to locate two men who may have information on the gang rape of a 19-year-old woman in Puchong.
Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Mohd Adnan Abdullah said the victim, a promoter at a convenience store, was walking to work on March 31 when two men accosted and forced her into a car with three other men.
“They drove to a hotel in Bandar Puteri Puchong where the five took turns to rape her,” he said at the police headquarters here.
After they left, the victim reported her assault to the police at 3.15pm.
He said police have arrested three suspects, aged between 17 and 24.
Police are looking for a mechanic in his 20s, identified as Ramu, and B. Teiventhirranpillai, 26, who works in a call centre, to facilitate investigations.
The three who were arrested do not have criminal records.

In a separate case, police are looking for a man to assist in investigations into a gang fight last Nov*ember.
The incident was reported at 3am on Nov 30 by Serdang Hospital doctors attending to three men who were stabbed during a fight with another group in Serdang Raya.
One man died from his injuries.
Police believe Lim Mun Vei, 38, who goes by the nickname Tai Seow with the last known address at No D 30A, Jalan Kuyow, Seri Kem*bangan, can help in their investigations.
