SUBANG JAYA, Malaysia - Police moved swiftly after four men armed with machete held up a company supervisor at a junction near Tesco Hypermarket and stole his car.
Within 50 minutes, they were at a house in Taman Subang Perdana where they busted the syndicate and recovered six other cars.
There were nine suspects, aged between 18 and 30, in the house at 5.40pm on Tuesday.
During the arrest, a 28-year-old police officer fell and fractured his arm when he climbed to the ceiling to nab two suspects hiding there.
Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Mohd Adnan Abdullah said the seven cars were carjacked by the suspects in the Klang Valley and Penang recently.
The suspects have been remanded for investigations.
