Cop held for raping godmother
A 22-year-old policeman in Jerantut, Pahang, has been arrested for allegedly raping his godmother, reported China Press.
However, sources said the policeman had since confessed to being in love with his godmother, claiming that they had sex several times at her home or at his quarters.
According to the daily, the suspect had befriended the woman, who used to be married to a policeman, three years before moving into her house.
In her police report, the 51-year-old woman alleged that in Novem*ber, the suspect had stormed into her room and locked the door. He then gagged her before forcing himself on her.
It was learnt that the woman finally made a formal complaint as she could no longer stand being raped.

The man was arrested at a motel after CCTV footage on Dec 11 showed him standing near the counter of a money-changer, where the owner of the handphone, an Indian national, had placed it before it went missing.
When the police raided the man’s hideout at the motel, they also found and seized other items, including a handphone and a handbag.

The 58-year-old man even threw glasses, plates and clothing from the high-rise unit in Jurong East, drawing stares from curious onlookers who then alerted the police.
Police had to break into the unit before they could pull the man to safety.
A neighbour said the man was married with a daughter, who is currently studying at a college.
