Contrast between voting PAP and WP

It's indeed a contrast:

PAP supporters: enjoy opposition town council services but do not want to pay conservancy fees

WP supporters: have to pay PAP government taxes but do not enjoy PAP government services

PAP wards: taxpayers money is given to PAP government as well as PAP run town councils

WP wards: taxpayers money is not only not given to WP but withheld from WP town councils which voters chose to have

Rightfully WP town councils should be given bigger grants than PAP town councils since the people there did not vote PAP and are not given PAP goodies like upgrading. Hence the unused money should be given to WP to handle.

Not only is the corrupt PAP not doing that, they are withholding WP voting taxpayers money from WP voters.

PAP when voted in uses the money of their voters to reward them and not reward those who did not vote for them. WP when voted in does not have access to the money of their voters. Wonder what logic is this.

This is just using public funds to play politics, putting the welfare of the residents as a trump card.

if the opposition win more seats, it's going to be increasingly difficult for the pap government to deny the opposition their deserved funds for their constituencies. if the opposition win most of the seats in the east area, the pap would have no choice but to give up the mayor's position and the power to them. the opposition would control a CDC in this case.

That is not going to happen. The opposition are constantly against government's policies. If an opposition MP was made a mayor, he or she would hamstring national policies in order to further party politics. The mayor would still be from the ruling party. That is the only way the government can ensure that the mayor and grassroots carry out the national policies that would benefit the whole country, as the mayor can be held accountable.
