Contraband cigarette pedlar jailed for threatening teen with knife

He was in cahoots with a teen allegedly peddling contraband cigarettes in MacPherson and became furious when he found out that someone named Jacky had taken cigarettes without paying for them.
Derrick Pay Sim Leng, 39, armed himself with a knife, a paint scrapper and a 50cm-metal rod. His young accomplice was said to have carried a hammer and another paint scrapper.
They then went looking for Jacky at Block 55 Sims Drive at about 11pm on Nov 16, 2011.
Instead of Jacky, they found two of Jacky's friends. Pay pointed the knife at one of them and said: 'Get Jacky down in 15 minutes or I will burn both of you.'
