日本東京台東區某飯店上月30日發現1名台灣籍旅客陳屍房內，調查人員指出，該名男子解剖後從體內找出約50袋毒品，研判可能是因部分毒品袋子破損，導致他中毒而死。
據《朝日電視台》報導，死者上月底投宿在該間飯店，30日飯店人員發現他陳屍在房內急忙報警，警方將男子解剖驗屍時發現，他體內有約50袋小包裝的毒品，但因其中部分包裝袋破裂，推測他可能是因毒品流出導致中毒身亡，目前將朝非法走私毒品的方向偵辦。
另外，由於有2名台籍男子與該名死者一起投宿該飯店，但事發後卻失聯，目前正積極調查2人的下落，希望能夠早日逮捕歸案，釐清整起事件。
