[FONT="]Richard Stanley was already in Piyush's role as CEO for SEA markets in 2004, before leaving for the China CEO post in 2005. Richard led Citi's inroad in the Chinese market, including the acquisition of the controlling stake in Guangdong Development Bank.<o>:p></o>:p>[/FONT]
[FONT="]Piyush took on his latest role as CEO for SEA markets only in late 2007. He has not shown to be a dealmaker, and has little experience in the Chinese and Indian markets. To me, he would be a strong operational guy, but perhaps not someone who can take DBS forward to the next level.[/FONT]
