Chitchat College grades have become a charade. It's time to abolish them.

It is only comprehensible for the young & VERY NAIVE, to want education abolish. It is the WORST thing to do.

Based upon psychological studies, teens DO have a difficult time adjusting to the real WORLD, with teenage angst being common - rebellion against authority even against their parents, follow advices from their peers whom are equally clueless about REALITIES, or from harmful adults whom realizes youths are a SOURCE to achieve their nefarious gains - of success & failures, which they have no CRITICAL THINKING to discern...

Education is a form of DISCIPLINE. It takes no doubt much to put the nose to the grind like all adults would have to face in daily life.

Knowledge is a power but comes with RESPONSIBILITIES to others, & equally, only thru education DISCIPLINE will employers be it govt or private, will trust, as such are not charity orgs, but results orientated. That degree obtained is NOT just a piece of paper, but a passport to show one's discipline in achieving (w)holistic education, often born by taxpayers thru social expenditure for the next innocent generations to come.

(w)holistic education - maths, science, languages, history, etc, prepares the naive young, which thru teenage angst in presuming they are 'all knowing' & geniuses, to look FAR beyond their noses centered upon themselves & to the mere village or district they lived in, but to a wider World of needs, be it social, economic or security issues, for employment or uplifting of lives, not just one's nations, but every nation on Earth which comprises of 195 independent sovereign countries with DIFFERENT types of survival methods & opportunities for intelligent Humanity to achieve success, be it for personal gain or to uplift the lives of Humankind...

While it may be true that what one was taught in science & tech may be irrelevant or obsolete today as such progressed very far even daily, however - the basics of (w)holistic education STILL holds true, thru education reformation, seminars & skills upgrades.

Without such basics taught while in their formative years, youths or adults would be CLUELESS on such subjects to progress & evolve.

Should college education be abolish, it will not be the angsty youth who cried for it SUFFERS, but Civilization as a whole, & is a regression back to the jungle rules....

I wanted to be a rock star but college did not offer such a course.

I think so too, that it's time to abolish grades. In university, it was very important for me to have good grades and I think this is wrong. I often turned to domypaper.com to have time to read more before exams. It seems to me that it would be better for me to have fun and look for new hobbies than to sit all the time behind books. Don't get hung up on grades, friends
