Coco Lee married long-time lover Bruce Rockowitz in a two-day celebration estimated to be worth HKD20 million, according to May Daily.
Lee, 36, has dated Rockowitz, 52, the president of Hong Kong based Li & Fung Group for eight years before tying the knot. His assets are estimated to be worth more than HKD33 million.
The couple definitely spared no expense in their extravagant wedding. A reported HKD10 million is spent on six-star hotel accommodations and ticket fares for friends and relatives while HKD3 million is spent on private jets to fly international superstars to the wedding, which included Oprah Winfrey and Jennifer Lopez among others.
Their wedding rings alone are estimated to be worth HKD3 million. Other expenditures include HKD330,000 for hiring a PR company to prepare the wedding, over HKD33,000 on her Vera Wang wedding gown, and HKD1 million worth of jewelry sponsored by Piaget.
The couple held their registration ceremony at the Sky 100 Observation Deck before holding a wedding banquet at the Ritz Carlton.
According to reports, the wedding was attended by a total of 1,100 friends and relatives. Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys and Ne-Yo were also invited to perform at the ceremony and the wedding party.
