never understand human mentality, why must eat bakwa, rabbit fish etc etc during cny? cannot eat normal days meh?
Back in ancient times, peasants starved for an entire year and it's only during CNY when they got to eat better food.
The thinking is: eat well at the start of the year, so the rest of the year you can eat well too.
