Ten suspected drug traffickers and 88 suspected drug abusers were arrested in a four-day raid carried out by the Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB).

In the islandwide operation, officers went to Eunos, Chinatown, Haig Road, West Coast and Boon Lay, among other places.

During the raid, which ended on Oct 20, officers seized drugs worth about $69,400. This included 424g of heroin, 44g of ketamine and 8g of 'Ice'. They also found Erimin-5 tablets and Ecstasy.

The bulk of the heroin was seized on Wednesday in the late afternoon from a Housing Board unit in Boon Lay. The suspected drug trafficker, a 52-year-old Singaporean man, and his 41-year-old wife, were arrested.
