SINGAPORE: The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) has busted a drug syndicate, arresting its leader and five others on Wednesday.
CNB seized over 6,800 Erimin 5 tablets, 420 Ecstasy tablets, 360 grams of Ketamine and 140 grams of Ice.
In total, the drugs have a street value of more than S$106,400.
Cash of more than S$32,000, believed to be illicit proceeds from drug trafficking, was also recovered.
Most of these were found at the syndicate's hideout in Bedok South, while the rest were recovered around the Farrer Park area.
CNB believes the syndicate was led by a 39-year-old Singaporean man.
All suspects are Singaporeans and are being investigated for drug offences.
Drug trafficking carries a minimum sentence of five years' imprisonment and five strokes of the cane.
