KUALA LUMPUR: Indonesian actress Saphira Indah Julianti passed away yesterday due to lung infection.
According to news reports, the 32-year-old artiste was six months pregnant when she breathed her last.
Her husband Rico Hidros Daeng said that she was very cautious of her health throughout her pregnancy and made sure she never missed her monthly doctors’ appointment.
“But five days ago she complained of shortness of breath and asked to be taken to the hospital.
“Death can come at any moment, you’ll never see it coming,” said Rico.
Saphira was buried at the Budi Darma cemetery, Tanjuk Priok in North Jakarta at 10am this morning.
Known for her role as Uni in the 2003 hit romantic movie Eiffel I’m In Love, her other movies include Virgin 3: Satu Malam Mengubah Segalanya (2011), Poconggg Juga Pocong (2011), Rumah Kosong (2014) and Villa 603 (2015).
