这不终于等来了第二次好机会，印度精心筹备的第二次空袭在满怀期待下展开了，事情发生在前几日，印度媒体称，在印度上空雷达侦测到一架来自巴基斯坦的无人机，于是印度急忙起飞苏30MKI战机对其进行拦截，在相互碰面之后，苏-30飞行员发射导弹将其成功击毁，回到基地后他得意洋洋的表示，这一次他终于给阿比纳丹报仇了，因为它击落了一架巴基斯坦的战机。印度军方在得知这个消息之后，高兴地不得了，他们也认为这次印度终于能好好的吹一把了。
于是通过各大媒体广为报道这次印度飞行员击落巴基斯坦无人机的事实，巴不得全世界都知道他们的这个好消息。但是期望越高，失望就越大。因为很快，这个好消息就成了让他们再次颜面尽失的坏消息。因为巴基斯坦官方正式做出说明，当天巴基斯坦并未起飞无人机，更没有任何越境行为。那么也就是说，印度军方击落的这架无人机并不是来自巴基斯坦。这就让人搞不明白了，既然飞机不是巴基斯坦的，那会是谁的呢？总不能自己打自己吧。
然而笑话就从这几开始了，巴基斯坦方面表示，当天他们只有一家喷气式飞机在空中巡逻，在发现苏-30经过之后，为了避免不必要的麻烦，巴基斯坦飞行员将这架喷气式飞机的油箱扔了出去，为了防止苏-30突然朝他开火他不方便战斗。但是让他没有想到的是，苏-30战机的飞行员，居然将这个油箱当做是敌方目标，并且用精确制导导弹将其击毁，还称他们成功击落了一架战机。时间地点都吻合，这下印度又闹大笑话了。
