"A 48-year-old man armed with a meat cleaver burst into a privately run kindergarten near Hanzhong City, Shaanxi province at 8 a.m. Wednesday, savagely hacking a class of 20 children...

Five boys and two girls perished, while 11 others were wounded.

All were believed to be less than six years old... The assailant, a local man identified as Wu Huanming, later committed suicide bringing the overall death toll to 10."
