The shopping mall and restaurants below my office were packed to the brim last night. The KTV I went to was fully booked even though its an upmarket one. In fact most KTVs are fully booked even though they are charging 2.5 times more yesterday. The same goes with discos, pubs.......
The Chinese are partying hard to the beat of recession - which is just another sad story happening in far far away countries that they read in the papers.
