China finding it hard to wipe out counterfeits

The market for fake iPhones, bootleg DVDs, perfumes, bags and liquor is flourishing in China.
The US last month issued a report on counterfeit goods in China, saying the sale of such articles remained unacceptably high.
Despite official crackdowns and successful prosecutions, factories have continued to churn out fake goods in China, meaning foreign and domestic manufacturers are missing out on billions of dollars in lost revenue.
It is believed China's counterfeit market is the biggest in the world and employs millions of people.
