Spanish authorities stopped all flights and boats leaving the island as they launched a manhunt for the perpetrators behind the explosion in a popular resort this afternoon.
Planes en route to Majorca from the UK were forced to turn back in mid-air and others had to divert elsewhere after Palma airport was shut.
