David Gan: "Their trust in me is indescribable"
</cite>
Renowned hair coiffeur David Gan was already up and about at 6am yesterday morning doing Fann Wong's bridal hairstyle. While waiting for groom Chris's arrival, David revealed his wedding gift to the newly-weds. "Doing Fann's hair for her is already considered a very big present." Apart from styling her hair, he will be presenting her with a diamond ring as he said, "I have watched Fann grow up since her younger days. Whatever I give her is priceless. It is a ring made from a heart-shaped diamond I once had."

The ring was said to be a gift David bought for himself 15 years ago. It had two hearts in it, one that is wider and another that is rounder. The hair guru gave the wider diamond to Zoe Tay and left the rounder one for Fann. The two hearts add up to a total of eight carats. Known for his generousity, David expressed that the present's meaning outweighs its monetary value. "You cannot measure it with money." As one of his wedding gifts, David also sponsored the couple's wedding shoot held at the Maldives earlier this month. David was supposed to attend the tea-ceremony together with the bride's side of the family. However, the adoring Ah Bu (an affectionate way of addressing 'mother' in Mandarin) of the golden couple wanted a glimpse of his lovely "daughter" in her wedding gown and decided to gatecrash the tea ceremony at the groom's side of the family.

"When they were serving me tea, I had tears in my eyes. However they could not see the tears as I was wearing my spectacles." He poignantly shared, "Fann is really important to me. When she went through good and bad times, I was always at her side. When I went through good and bad times, she was always at my side. I really dote on Christopher too. I helped him with all the wedding preparations that a groom had to complete, I had to do it well." "I really want to thank them for having so much confidence in me. Their trust in me is an indescribable feeling." The golden couple has been very public and candid about their desire to have a baby as David said, "After Fann completes what she needs to do, I hope that she can return to the entertainment industry and make further contributions She really loves children."
