With water bombs becoming popular when is Changi going to get those NEW scanners?

Those scanners can detect passengers carrying bombs, weapons, ....Some privacy concerns about the machines being able to strip the clothing from those scanned, but the demo on CNBC shows that only a silhouette of the person being scanned appears. No private parts were revealed :)

Can you adjust the machine to peel more layers and enhance definitions?

Don't think so because other than the modesty issue, there's also the concern of health issues for the person being scanned.

If you don't idiot proof the machine, some idiot might cook a passenger:)

They will be shocked, those manning the scanners at the exit points in SINgapore...that the males of the 66.6% have no balls, and the females, the 'balls' are almost non-existent.:D

I'd better not fly anymore unless absolutely necessary. Limit leisure trips to West Malaysia and southern Thailand, accessible via land. I think that I've still enough mileage points on my Northwest card for a free trip to the US. Anyone interested? I can try to transfer the points if they allow.

In the month following 9-11, I remember someone wrote on the web "Privacy will be the first victim of the war on terror".

How true

Fuck the terrorists and their camel fucking religion

I've got my memories of visiting the US during the pre-al Qaede days. I'm glad I got a chance to visit the twin towers before it was destroyed.

However, I've had my fair share of problems visiting the US. :)

From bak kwa being confiscated in SF. To being hassled in Vegas, I was amused by the immigration officer quizzing me on the amount of $$$ I was bringing in :D I guess he thought I had the gambling type of face :)

Nowadays with all the security problems its no longer fun visiting the US :(
