Change bus policies here and there, in the end who lose out?

The recent privatisation of public transport may cause problems and unions are fighting to prevent wages of these bus drivers from being affected.
In the end don't you think LTA should intervene to enforce a rule on wages and work something out to help these poor bus drivers?

All I can say is be prepared for rising transportation costs. Our government does not make a loss. Even if they make a loss on this, they will find another way to earn back the money they lost.

Does anyone really believe that a bunch of people with sky-high salaries, high position, never take public transport as main transportation will gather around a table and brainstorm to raise service levels and at the same time reduce price for the masses to enjoy everyday?
