Celebrities indulging in vice at posh property
THE Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) has five celebrities in its sights for involvement in illicit sex and gambling, reported Harian Metro. The five artistes, including four women and a man in their 20s and 30s, are being investigated for vice. JAIS planning and strategic assistant director Shahrom Maarof said the department had identified their “nest of activities” and would take action at the right time.
“We have information that a 30-year-old woman has been bringing home her male friend who is married to someone else. “The other women are doing the same thing, bringing men back to their home after 10pm. “Their activities are causing uneasiness among the other residents,” he added.
He said while the department had the necessary evidence to arrest the five, they were facing difficulty because of the posh nature and security of the property they were living in. “Usually, suspects in these cases make a deal with the security personnel to inform them of the presence of the authorities. Shahrom also said there could be more celebritites involved in immoral activities, making executive clubs and entertainment centres the ‘base’ for their shenanigans.
