A home is supposed to be a safe haven, but one video making the rounds on social media shows how a peaceful night in one’s comfort zone can quickly go south.
The three-minute video uploaded on YouTube on Wednesday (July 24) shows eight people – including one young boy – sitting on a sofa and chatting at a dining table when three masked robbers armed with machetes stormed in.

All eight victims in the house at Bandar Saujana Putra, Malaysia were then forced into a room, where two robbers stood guard outside while the remaining robber went upstairs.

Another CCTV recording shared by The Star on YouTube showed three masked men standing outside the house.

According to The Star, the Officer in Charge of Police District (OCPD) of Kuala Langat, Supt Azizan Tukiman, said that a total of six suspects were involved in the robbery which occurred at 9.41pm on Tuesday.

“The suspects came to the house in a car and three of them scaled a brick wall surrounding the house,” he added.

He was also quoted by Bernama as saying: “During the incident, there were eight people in the house, aged 12 to 70, who were resting at the living room and dining area.”

The suspects tied up seven of the victims in a room downstairs while one woman, was taken upstairs. There, she handed the robbers valuables and jewellery worth RM30,000 (US$7286.70), Bernama reported.

None of the victims were hurt and managed to free themselves before asking a neighbour for help after the masked men fled.

He added that the police did not manage to find any fingerprints at the scene as all the suspects were wearing gloves, and urged people with information on the case to contact the nearest police station.

About 45 years ago, i wondered why housing estates in manila were surrounded by high walls and guards at the main entrance.
Now its being replicated in jiu hu.public roads going into housing estates are blocked by guards which is against the law.
They do this due to escalating and uncontrollable crime rate.

I guess the robbers are from certain race. Building walls and having locks are not long term solution.

Integration had failed as proof in Europe and elsewhere.

Segregation is one of the solutions. That is why the rich stay among each other. In another words, different race should stay among each other.
Intellectually, culturally, economically are all different.

Man ‘trying to take selfie' dies after being mauled by bear
Prabhu Bhatara killed on the spot, forest ranger says

A man was mauled to death by a bear after he reportedly tried to take a selfie with the creature.
After stopping to go to the toilet on his way home from a wedding, Prabhu Bhatara is said to have spotted the injured animal in the Nabarangpur district of Odisha in India.
His fellow SUV passengers advised him against trying to take a picture with the creature.

As he sidled up, the bear struck and a struggled ensued. A stray dog also stepped in and bit the bear but its intervention failed to deter the larger animal.

Forest ranger Dhanurjaya Mohapatra said Mr Bhatara “died on the spot.”
He added: “The bear is being treated for its injuries.”
India had the highest rate of deaths linked to selfies for the two years between March 2014 and September 2016, with 60 per cent of all deaths taking place there, a study claimed last year.
Of 127 reported selfie deaths in that period, 76 occurred in India, a collaborative study by researchers from Carnegie Mellon University and Indraprastha Institute of Information Delhi found.
One 17-year-old girl died when she was swept over a parapet by a large wave while taking a selfie with friends.
Elsewhere, in 2014 a Mexican man died when the gun he was holding while taking pictures went off, wounding him in the head.
Oscar Otero Aguilar, 21, who had reportedly been drinking with friends before the incident, died on the way to hospital.
Last year an American woman was deemed “lucky to be alive” after she fell some 60ft from a bridge in California while taking a selfie.
The unnamed woman suffered fractured bones and a deep wound to her arm, authorities said, having ignored warnings about out-of-bounds areas.
Selfies with bears became something of a trend in 2014 – so much so that the US Forest Service was forced to warn people not to get so close to the animals.
“Visitor centre staff routinely encounter unsafe situations as guests ignore their instructions”, the service said.

This don't look like a random picked robbery.
It looks planned and specifically chosen.
The man at right corner sofa with pink towel seems expecting it and looks rather nonchalant.
This is likely a crook in the house.
