SOMETHING IS REPORTEDLY WRONG WITH CHINA'S MARS ROVER​

China's Zhurong rover might be in big trouble, after more than a year and a half into its stint on the Martian surface.
Scientists are scrambling to get the rover to wake from hibernation, sources tell the South China Morning Post, a safety protocol meant to shield it from a brutal Martian winter filled with powerful sandstorms.

The rover was put into sleep mode back in May, but scientists have been struggling to get it to jump back into action since late December — an unfortunate fate for a mission that's already been declared a success by Chinese authorities.

One source familiar with the matter told the newspaper that "most likely the sandstorms have seriously weakened Zhurong’s capacity to use its solar panels to generate power."

NASA's Mars landers have already suffered similar fates. Early last year, NASA's InSight lander struggled to recharge its batteries due to Martian dust covering its solar panels. Then in December, NASA announced the end of the mission.

Making matters worse for China's Mars exploration program, scientists are also struggling to take images of the Zhurong rover using China's Tianwen-1 probe, which is circling the Red Planet in an elliptical orbit.

The rover was meant to wake up once a certain power level and temperature threshold had been met, according to the SCMP.
While its ultimate fate is still in unknown, Zhurong has already vastly exceeded expectations. The rover was initially designed to wander the Martian landscape for a mere three months.

So far, it managed to travel well over a mile over an entire year before being put into hibernation mode.

wiper also needs power and will draw from depleted battery, thus contributing to shorter life span. may be some kind of sleek teflon-like shiny smooth reflective covering can do double duty: protect it from heat and cold temperatures and keep dust off at least 69% of its surface.

Thanks for the suggestions, & slim beautiful ladies to look at if I may add. However, if you had been thru a sandstorm in the Persian Gulf states, those material WILL NOT last 39 secs, as the sand particles will build up, layer upon layer.

Most of such sandstorms will last at the least a few hours on Earth. As for Mars, with NO structures or even trees to block or absorb the PRESSURES from the high speed winds causing the desert like ground conditions of sand flying, it will be 10 times worse. Thus no Rover or any extension of a wiper can help to remove the dust.

However, all is not lost. The answer lays in known technology - use of PRESSURE, as a FORCE FIELD, best described by sci-fi movies, & the insignificant nobody me will try to explain as simply as I can.

a)When a small ball at high speed ( induced by PRESSURE) hits a bigger ball ( equally induced by Pressure of equal or even lower), the small ball is deflected & spins away. It is only Newtonian physics.

b) When a fire hose is aimed at a Human weighing 100kg or more, charging towards the hose, the Human is stopped in his tracks, or even blown away by the PRESSURE from the water hose.

c) To stop a bullet or missile travelling at high speeds, the water hose will be of no use, as it is no match to the velocity & pressure of object. However, according to great scientist Einstein E=MC2 theory, objects travelling at high speeds will build up mass & pressure at its front, thus slowing it down, & most can never achieve the speed of light due to such, unless the object is as weightless or mass-less as light.

d) With the knowledge gained from nuclear fusion, from many tests conducted, when atoms are split or joined, it will produce Omni-directional high PRESSURE waves, that will cause objects/structures , speeding projectiles or even mere particles to be deflected or even destroyed. Such is known, but only UNKNOWN to Humanity is HOW to CONTROL such atom particle entanglements safely, using regulated control burst/explosions every second from the device when in hostile environments.

Once such are known, will a TRUE FORCE FIELD be created, to protect crafts & even cities, & even space exploration vehicles/vessels from all environments, hostile or natural.
