Customs Thunder has also cracked 80 million drug trafficking cases. Last night, officers of the Customs Narcotics Bureau conducted a anti-drug operation outside a mansion estate in Tai Kok Tsui. They intercepted two Australian Asian men and found a total value of about $80 million in their respective suitcases. cocaine. It is reported that after the two suspects came to Hong Kong as tourists, they were arranged to be admitted to the mansions of the "drug warehouse". They were suspected to "send orders" to transport the drugs to the Asia-Pacific region. The case involved suspected transnational drug trafficking groups controlled by local gangs. This is the third case of a large cocaine drug case which was uncovered in the urban area in one month. A total of about 421 kilograms of cocaine was seized in three cases. The total value was over $420 million. Anti-drugs have dealt a heavy blow to the gangsters.
Luxury house drug warehouse
According to the report, officers of the Customs and Excise Department of the Customs and Excise Department conducted an anti-drug operation in Kowloon West at about 6 pm in the evening before the smuggling of the Harbour Road outside Tai Po Tsui. During the period, the officers found two target men, each carrying a suitcase from the housing estate, and immediately intercepted them. In the two suitcases, seized about 80 kilograms of suspected cocaine, with a total market value of about 80 million yuan. . During the operation, the two Australian-American men, aged 18 and 18, were all arrested for trafficking in dangerous drugs. They were then detained and searched at a flat in the estate. However, there was no drug discovery in the whole estate. .
Chen Shaozhen, the first group commander of the Drug Investigation Section of the Customs Drug Investigation Bureau, said that the two suspects came to Hong Kong as tourists and immediately resided in a unit on the site. They believed that the site was also used as a drug storage warehouse. As the private housing estates are more defensive, it is believed that drug trafficking syndicates will arrange for foreigners to cover up drug trafficking through the identity of tourists and avoid causing suspicion from law enforcement officials.
Smuggling from the waterway to Hong Kong to resell the Asia Pacific region
Initial investigations revealed that the case was related to a gang in Hong Kong and involved a transnational drug trafficking syndicate. The cocaine seized was believed to have been smuggled into Hong Kong from the waterway and was ready for transshipment to the Asia Pacific region. It was not distributed in Hong Kong. As the drugs were brick-like, similar to the packaging and patterns in the two large cocaine drugs cases that were uncovered last month, the Customs is investigating whether the case is related to the above two cases and does not rule out that more people have been arrested.
According to the information, the Customs and Excise Department has cracked two huge drug cases last month. On the third day of last month, the officers smashed the Drug Storage and Distribution Centre at Sha Tin Riverside Garden. They arrested a 41-year-old Hong Kong man with a gangster background and seized 91 kilograms of cocaine with a market value of over $100 million. A total of 250 kilograms of cocaine worth about $240 million were seized and two foreign men involved in the case were arrested in the homes or hotels in To Kwa Wan, Tsim Sha Tsui and Yau Ma Tei.

Following the seizure of two large-scale cocaine drugs in the urban area, the Customs and Excise Department yesterday (29th) smashed another large cocaine drug case in a mansion estate in Tai Kok Tsui and seized 80 kilograms of cocaine with a market value of about $80 million. The arrest of two Australian male tourists was initially suspected to be related to the local triads and did not exclude the previous two similar drug cases. This is the third large-scale cocaine drug case uncovered in the urban area in April. A total of 421 kilograms of cocaine has been seized with a market value of about $400 million.
The Customs and Excise Department conducted an anti-drug operation in West Kowloon in the evening of the same day. Two Australian men aged 18 and 28 were intercepted at Harbour Bay, Hoi Wan Road. They seized a total of 80 kilograms of suspected cocaine in their suitcases. The preliminary investigation believed that the drugs were smuggled into Hong Kong from the waterway and were ready to be re-transferred to the Asia-Pacific region. The two suspects live in one flat in the estate. The flats are mainly for storage purposes.
The first group commander of the Customs Drug Investigation, Mr Raymond Chan, pointed out that the seized drugs were brick-like. Similar to the two other drug cases seized this month, the seized drug packages were similar. At the same time, two people were arrested and came to Hong Kong as tourists. The Customs and Excise Department will investigate whether the three cases are related. It is initially believed to be related to the local triads. The case involves transnational drug trafficking syndicates and temporarily believes that the arrested persons are active for a short time.
For drug dealers who have recently used luxury housing estates to engage in drug trafficking, Chen Shaozhen pointed out that because private housing estates are more defensive, and drug dealers are foreign tourists, it is not easy to attract doubt.
On the 3rd and 25th of this month, the Customs and Excise Department respectively cracked two cases of cocaine drugs. The drug seized 341 kilograms of drugs and depreciated 340 million yuan. Three men were arrested in the operation.

On the 3rd and 25th of this month, the Customs and Excise Department respectively cracked two cases of cocaine drugs. The drug seized 341 kilograms of drugs and depreciated 340 million yuan. Three men were arrested in the operation.
